Welcome to Dominion City Hull – where community strength thrives!

We are a faith-based and ethnically diverse group made up of teachers, nurses, social workers, solicitors, IT engineers, youth workers, carers, doctors, artists etc. Apart from being part of the same local church group, one thing we have in common is that we believe we have a responsibility to give back to our communities and help positively influence the younger generation.
We believe that the church has a crucial part to play in strengthening the civic texture of our communities. This is why we have worked closely with communities across Hull. We have created a couple of independent initiatives led by our members aimed at transforming the lives of the people in our communities. Some of the initiatives include:

• FindX: A free Math and Science Club for KS3, KS4, and KS5 delivered by our volunteer teachers.

• RhythmNation: A free music and drama club with a faculty of experienced music teachers and instrumentalists with a diverse area of expertise. We currently offer lessons at all levels in Piano, Drums, Guitar, Voice, Theory and more.

• • Nexus Club: A Career and Life skills club for secondary and college students.
•  
• YouthConnect: An educational youth society aimed at addressing and preventing gang violence in Hull.
•  
• She’s GOLD: A partnership with secondary schools across Hull educating and empowering young girls to recognize and pursue their dreams.

• Manna: Bringing families and individuals across Hull for a free breakfast and Cloth Drive with a particular emphasis on the homeless and less privileged.

• EcoMotive: Our monthly clean-up of our community.
•  

Through these initiatives, we have reached and impacted over a thousand young people in Hull, and we seek to do more.
